STARSkate Primary

What Is STARSkate?

The STARSkate program provides the opportunity for skaters to: 

  • Develop more advanced figure skating skills in the following areas: skating skills, free skating, dance, and interpretive
  • Take Skate Canada accredited tests
  • Participate in competitions
  • Develop the desire to embrace skating as a life-long activity 

 

STARSkate Primary (Stage 4) Program

  • Program is led by a professional coach 
  • Program is 1 hour in length: 15 minutes of large group stroking, 15 minutes of small group instruction in the following disciplines, free skating, dance, and skating skills, and 30 minutes to work independently 
  • Intended for skaters who have successfully completed their level 3 CanSkate Stage or equivalent and wish to pursue figure skating 
  • It is recommended that skaters obtain the services of a private coach at this point. Coaches can be contacted directly to arrange private lessons. 

 

Nobleton Skating Club offers skating programs that cater to everyone, from preschoolers stepping on the ice for the first time to adult skaters with a passion for the sport. These programs serve both recreational and competitive skaters. Our programs are run by the NCCP professional coaches, and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
